“Dear Passengers,
I wish you a very good morning, and welcome you on board of Flight XTD1133A from Terra to Cassel in Goss System.
This is Captain Nick Mercier speaking, and I would like to share some information with you about our flight. Flight time today will be 5 hours and 20 minutes approximately, and our estimated time of arrival at Cassel is 03.45 PM local time.
The weather predictions on our route through Terra and Goss System are pretty good, just encountering some minor rain showers after lift off. Once leaving troposphere, the meteorologic conditions will clear up.
When arriving at Cassel, you will encounter shining blue skies, temperatures of 35° Celsius and a water temperature of 25° Celsius. Please do not forget your sunblockers accordingly.
Concerning the flight plan – our route is scheduled to pass Gen Orbit and Marisol Belt until intercepting Goss Jump Point. From here we will cross interstellar space until leaving the jump tunnel, heading inbound Goss III.

Approach is planned to pass Koriszegy Passage, guiding us right through Olympus Pool – the system´s magnificient nebula, shining in turqouise, gold and deep orange colors. So you and me belong to the lucky people, seeing the beauty of this system right on it´s doorstep. Additionally, you will have a magnificient view on Cassel´s two suns with their dark orange shine, while heading inbound Cassel.
Our Entry into atmosphere will be initiated over Evershine Archipelago, passing the great Bay of Bourdine and the Gulf of Ronette. Descending over southern hemisphere, we will finally land on Goss Interstellar Spaceport. Of course, you will be able to follow our route on the spacecraft´s entertaining system.

For the technically interested ones, I would like to give some information about this vessel. You are onboard of a Genesis Starliner, 7th Generation, carrying the name of “Jacques Etienne Montgolfiere” in dedication to the french balloon pilot of ancient 18th century. This ship has a heigth of 18 meters, a length of 85 meters and a beam of 90 meters. It´s mass is 3.100 tons approximately. For electricity and life support we have two powerplants; four engines and four thrusters will ensure orbital and atmospheric locomotion.
Concerning our crew – Our personnel consists of our friendly first officer Jeanette Valcour and myself. In the cabin we have our liaison officer Archibald Baxter and our charming flight attendants Nadine Schauffen, Richard Breer, Annabelle Fontier and Ricarda Gonzalez. Say also hello and congratulations to Betsy, our purser, who just got 52 this morning. Congratulations, Betsy. Good to have you enroute.
